Reactor Fuel Rods are used to store Fuel and Waste. They are a required component for all reactors, regardless of type.

When a reactor is assembled and has either Fuel or Waste inside, it will appear as a fluid inside of the rod. This can be seen through a pane of Reactor Glass, if present.
- Light green fluid represents Fuel, taking on the color of Uranium Ingots.
- Electric blue fluid represents Waste, taking on the color of Cyanite Ingots.
This can serve as an additional way to view the Fuel/Waste status of a reactor, without needing to enter into the Reactor Terminal.
